AN UPDATE FROM VI ECOTOURS IN THE TIME OF COVID-19

How we are working to manage the spread COVID-19 in the Virgin Islands continues to change everyday. This post was published on 3/27/2020 and we will continue to update it as new information becomes available.

We wanted to take the time as a company to provide you with an update on how we’re responding to the guidelines put in place for the coronavirus.

All of our operations – VI EcoTours, Honeymoon Beach, and Bikinis on the Beach Bar & Grill – are still currently open, just operating under slightly different parameters with regard to the safety of our team and guests.

We have many residents, FEMA workers, boaters, and visitors on-island who are hiding out here wondering how to spend their time with respect to the social distancing recommendations given to us. Whether you live in the Virgin Islands or are here temporarily – we have solutions available to you.

Thankfully, our islands are plentiful when it comes to wide open spaces. We’re fortunate to have consistently gorgeous weather, abundant fresh air, and a plethora of outdoor activities to enjoy in social isolation.

We welcome you individually or in small, private groups on our beach, in our mangrove lagoon, and on our individualized tours. You are also able to book all of our equipment rentals online.

Please know that our team is taking every safety precaution recommended by the CDC and takes your wellness very seriously.

For those of you not currently on-island, if you’re having to make the difficult decision of whether or not you should cancel your upcoming vacation to the Virgin Islands, we’d like to encourage you to simply postpone it instead. Our islands’ economy is largely based in tourism and your commitment to visiting us once this all passes will help tremendously. We cannot wait to welcome you back with open arms as soon as this scare is over.

Please keep up with our Facebook and Instagram posts, as we’ll keep posting live updates to share our islands’ beauty with you, wherever you are in the world.
