Getting To Honeymoon Beach St. John

Kayak to Honeymoon Beach, enjoy a luxury boat charter or adventure on your own dingy rental!

Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lind Point trail on your way to Honeymoon Beach.

Honeymoon Beach is located on the Caneel Bay peninsula on St. John. This secluded beach is nestled between two coral reefs and can only be reached by foot, by kayak or by boat.

For guests who prefer to walk in, we recommend taking two hiking options: a steep 0.2 mile hike from the trailhead of the scenic Lind Point Trail  at the stone sign at the entrance of the VI National Park entrance, or the gentle, 1-mile hike that starts at the Virgin Islands National Park (VIPN) Visitor’s Center in Cruz Bay, which passes a breathtaking overlook of the bay, and ends at the iconic Honeymoon Beach.

If you’re interested in learning more about the Lind Point Trail, consider joining the Caneel Bay 5-hour or 3-hour Kayak, Hike & Snorkel Adventures and snorkel with sea turtles, or the St. John Eco Hike . The trail is incorporated into the guided hiking portion of these tours, where you will learn about the plants and animals that make up this vibrant ecosystem.

Bikinis on the Beach Bar & Grill offers a full menu of food, ice cold drinks, and ice cream desserts.

Honeymoon Beach is home to our watersports center, with access to kayaks, SUPs, snorkel gear, and our all-inclusive Day Pass.

Our Honeymoon Beach Hut sells t-shirts, souvenirs, sunblock, sunglasses, and more. There are also restrooms, outdoor showers, and lockers available.
