Explore Coral Reefs With Sea Turtles

Kayak & snorkel in beautiful Caneel Bay on St. John! Explore the best that St. John has to offer above and below the water in the beautiful Virgin Islands National Park, which serves the backdrop for this wonderful trip.

Board your kayaks at Honeymoon Beach and paddle across Caneel Bay to the beautiful and deserted Scott Beach.

Since the hurricane damage to the nearby resort, there has been very little traffic at Scott Beach. The turtle population has increased tremendously and it’s very common to see as many as 2 to 12 different turtles species in the bay, along with stingrays and spotted eagle rays.

As you snorkel in the waters, watch sea turtles surface to breathe and then dive back down in the shallow waters to graze among the seagrass in the crystal clear and protected waters. On several occasions, dolphins have been seen while paddling across the bay.

Starting Your Tour

Honeymoon Beach is located at Caneel Bay, St. John, nestled on the North Shore of the Virgin Islands National Park.
