Cas Cay Kayak & Snorkel Tour

On our St. Thomas Mangrove Lagoon tours, you will kayak among the many small islands of the unique Inner Mangrove Lagoon. You may see a variety of birds such as brown pelicans, blue herons, night herons, egrets, yellow warblers and hummingbirds. While snorkeling you may see spotted eagle rays, turtles, pufferfish, octopus, lobster, stingrays, parrotfish and much more!

Consider yourself lucky if you are fortunate enough to see a baby shark or barracuda. For the most part they are more afraid of you than you are of them.

Yes! All guests wear life jackets, so you’re guaranteed to float. Relax, kick gently, and you’ll see lots of sea life during the snorkel portion of your tour.

Yes! We offer full snorkeling instruction. We also require that every person on the tour wear a life jacket during the kayaking and snorkeling portions of the tour.

Yes! We offer full kayaking instruction before the tour begins. It’s perfect for children, adults, and seniors. Beginners are welcomed!

Absolutely! As long as they weigh a minimum of 30 pounds, we can provide them with life jackets. If your child weighs less than that, you will have to bring a suitably sized life jacket for your child to wear.

Your Cas Cay tour includes a sit-on-top ocean kayak with backrest and paddle, a snorkel and mask, and a life jacket. Bottled water is provided, along with a full safety briefing. You’ll also receive kayaking and snorkeling instruction from expert guides, making this tour ideal for beginners and experienced adventurers alike.

For this kayaking and snorkeling adventure in St. Thomas, bring a bathing suit, towel, and clothing that can get wet. A hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen are recommended for sun protection. Wear water shoes or sandals with a secure heel strap for walking and paddling.

No. To protect the delicate marine life and coral in the mangrove lagoon, we do not provide or use fins. Our guides will teach you how to snorkel comfortably without fins while still enjoying amazing views of tropical fish and sea life in this unique St. Thomas ecosystem.

Yes. Before or after your Cas Cay kayak and snorkel adventure, you’ll have access to restrooms, dressing rooms, and lockers at our launch site near the Mangrove Lagoon in St. Thomas. These facilities are available to help make your experience easy and comfortable.

Your booking is fully refundable if canceled at least 24 hours before your tour.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time or no-shows are non-refundable.

Tours operate rain or shine (with the exception of lightning). In the rare case that weather prevents us from running the tour, we will gladly provide a full refund.

Yes! You can now upgrade any eligible tour to a private experience for just a $99 flat fee. This “Private Tour Upgrade” can be selected during online checkout—just look for the Flat Fee – Private Tour Upgrade option when booking your tour. Private tours are available any day except Wednesdays.
